Personification is when actions or feelings that humans have are given to an inanimate object or an animal. The Psalms are a great example of personification. A LOT of them are examples of personification. One example of personification is Psalm 96:11-12: “Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
