Hi, I’m Hannah and today I’m going to tell you about what I do for school on Thursdays.
First, I start with Khan Academy. Khan Academy is a website that is mostly known for math. It teaches various subjects like math, grammar, programming, chemistry, etc. I like using it for math because it explains things well.
Next, I do grammar. What I use for grammar are Daily Paragraph Editing and Easy Grammar. The Paragraph Editing book has paragraphs that have mistakes in them, and you have to see the mistakes and fix them.
The Easy Grammar book is a book that teaches the various parts of grammar. It goes by grades, and it has a lot of lessons. The left-hand corner of each lesson has the day number. So you can keep track of where you are so far. The lessons are short, so you can do at least three pages. The book is repetitive, so you can do things you learned on day 5 on day 16.
Finally, I do robotics. For robotics, I use the Lego Mindstorms ev3 robot. All you have to do is buy the pieces and download the program. Here’s the link to download the software on your computer: lego.com/en-us/themes/mindstorms/download. After I finish the robot, I clean up. In conclusion, all the things I do on Thursdays help to strengthen my understanding of math, grammar, and robotics. Thanks for reading my post!
